Every genre of music has an artist that followers simply love to hate, and hate to love. Dubstep has a whole slew of producers who qualify for this particular distinction, most notably the notorious bad boy best known as Borgore. The Israeli DJ, producer, and rapper has become a ubiquitous name in the world of EDM these past few years, steadily recruiting an army of die-hard followers who can’t help but rinse his gritty, hypersexual tunes.
The label-head has never let criticism stand in his path to the top, and Borger’s latest accomplishments continue to prove there’s nothing any doubter could say that would halt his unstoppable ascension. Jam-packed crowds at Ultra prove he’s capable of throwing down behind the decks, while anthemic collabs with Carnage and Cedric Gervais via Spinnin’ Records highlight his continually evolving style of production. Borgore now has an EP in the works slated for a June release, and there’s talk of a debut full-length album dropping in the fall.
So what’s next for Mr. Borger? You guessed it, a headlining tour across ‘merica. Borgore’s spring extravaganza will take place from early May to late June, laying waste to your cities with bass alongside Carnage, Ookay, and Kennedy Jones (each performing on select dates). We've got dates listed below, and for any of those that have a little Untz event link, you can buy your tickets right here and now! Don't be the schlub left outside the club when it sells out. C'mon, now...
