Bird of Prey

Torin Goodnight is releasing an EP of his early tracks under the Bird of Prey moniker.  Coming up in the Bay Area's fertile psytrance scene, Goodnight made the switch to dubstep, importing the psychedelic, synthetic, and organic aspects of his former genre.  Tracks like "Paradise" feature Eastern sounds and chants reminiscent of Goa, and "Stargazer," sounds like gurgling psytrance bass slowed down to a fraction of it's original tempo.  Really organic percussion underlies the evolving and progressive sound of Bird of Prey's early psystep sound.  The four-track EP Stray Feathers is available now through Addictech Records.
