When first listening to a track, you really never know what to expect. Will you like it, will you love it, or will it get shut off after a few minutes? “Language” is no different. The cut slowly grips your deepest emotions and makes you feel warm inside, but not until its bewitching synths kick in does your world shift upside down. Then, just when you thought the song had reached its pinnacle, you’re struck with the words “Give me release, let the waves of time and space surround me.” Some thought Porter Robinson couldn’t possibly follow up his unbelievable early success. Ya’ll were wrong.
