beardthugI guess Seamus Southern and Mallek Salleh were getting tired of all the accolades and heaps of praise for their slick productions, so they decided to scrap their winning sound and go for something completely off the deep end.

Well, they fucked up. beardthug thinks You Won't Like This EP. They're dead wrong. As hard as they tried to push the limit as far as they could, their inherent desire to make bangin' tunes won out, and the result is three crazy (but still awesome) tracks, that see the sunlight today.

With “Morning Mimosa” and “this falafel has drugs in it...” already out, we got the special privilege of sharing “Regretamine,” a collab with JuJu Beats. Southern and Salleh team up with Julian Seltzer on a real barnburner combining elements of dubstep and trap with some straight up, harebrained glitchiness. It's a real mindebender, but again, each artist has an innate knack for making a head-nodding tune, so here it is in all its glory.

beardthug just closed out its year with those massive ThazDope PL after parties in Detroit following up a big fall tour with SmokeStax, so we'll let them rest up in early 2018, as they plot their next misadventure.
