There's something for everybody on the new Bassnectar EP: blaring dubstep, dirty South hip-hop, and ... old school 808's?  Lorin Ashton brings a slew of guests, from ill Gates to the Mighty High Coup, together to cover as many bases as a 6 song EP can.  The 808 Track features the classic beat machine paired up with the crushing wobble for which Bassnectar has become known.  Falling features some haunting male vocals from Paper Machete, whereas the the feminine side is covered by Tina Malia on Underwater... of course, both descend into classic bass drenched hysteria.  The EP is streaming now on Bassnectar's website.  Check the events calendar at TheUntz.com to see when Bassnectar will be in your neighborhood.
