Bass Center 2016After months of speculation, today Bassnectar finally unveiled his secret plans for Bass Center 2016. The Sultan of Smash will be bringing a two-day camping festival to Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO (just outside Denver) with superstars from around the music industry. Catered to his tastes, the bill features Flux Pavilion, Wu-Tang Clan, Porter Robinson, Flying Lotus, Lupe Fiasco, AlunaGeorge, Minnesota, G Jones, Dabin, and Thriftworks.

Following years of consecutive sell out dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, and following admonitions from city officials about decibel levels, Lorin Ashton revealed after his final Red Rocks run in May 2015 that there would be a new plan in place for Bassnectar summer shows in the state.

Bassnectar follows in the footsteps of Phish and Dave Matthews Band, who have held consecutive weekends of shows at DSG Park featuring limited camping. With a concert capacity over 27,000, the soccer stadium that's home to the Colorado Rapids is three times the capacity of Red Rocks.

Throughout the weekend, special activities are planned for fans with various food trucks, pop-up vendors, and an interesting new pirate radio concept.

Travel packages will be on-sale through CID Entertainment, promising shuttles, hotels, and more. Camping and glamping options will be limited, but also on-sale via CID. Pre-sale begins tomorrow, Wednesday, January 13th at 10am MST, and the full on-sale is scheduled for Friday, January 15th at 10am MST.
