Audioscribe, the trusted writer of sound formerly known as NuKid is coming of age after-hours. Somewhere between homework and drivers’ ed (or harmless experimentation and puberty), Audioscribe finds time to decimate his art. The undoubtedly hot high school stud has just gifted us with a new single, “Glass Penguindrum,” and it’s cool complextro all the way. Bells chiming and a serenading synth give this track the most beautiful feel. That’s not to say it doesn’t have gusto, no. Want excitement? It’s a go. Interludes of intricate timing coupled with that game-on glitch make “Glass Penguindrum” more than just a pretty face. Still, all the girls want to kiss Daryl Hardy. Go get ’em, tiger.
