Kill Paris clinched the eardrums of bass music aficionados in 2012 with his silky smooth instrumentations, and continues to display inexplicable progression at its finest. Whether he’s collaborating with big name producers like Dillon Francis, professing his undying love for Lana Del Rey, or blowing the dust off records released before he was born, each track is bound to be gold.
Corey Baker’s latest gem takes on Anita Ward’s 1979 classic “Ring My Bell,”
while providing a “Freebee for all the ladies.” Although don’t worry, boys, this track has been approved for your satisfaction, too. The tune opens with Ward’s tantalizing vocals, gently sucking them from the depths of musical obscurity towards your undivided attention. Crashing synths and deep bass tones soon compliment ubiquitous lyrics from the original, coalescing to create a funky and fervor-injecting anthem.
The music of Kill Paris contains a suave finesse only prevalent in a small batch of producers. “Ring My Bell” continues his unstoppable reign, while helping Baker attract the attention of moms everywhere.
