If we were to give all our posts fun and quirky names, we would most likely call this one “All Adventure Club everything,” because that’s exactly what it is. The dynamic Canadian duo have been going real hard in the paint for the last year and a half, while proving that they are incredibly good at two main things: unloading consistently catchy tracks, and doing it at lighting speed.

On the group’s most recent release, they deliver yet again in a way that shines a light on their well-known style, while adding something new to spice things up. “Retro City” is a bass blaring gem that will grip the senses of any listener, as high-flying, chopped up vocals quickly strike. The song features unexpected tempo changes and lighting like synth progressions, while pumping elements of moombahton into their classic dubby sound. The result: a captivating cut that will have anyone tuned in attempting to sing a long to the track’s vocal samples, and jamming out to its emphatic drops.

While were still on the topic of Adventure Club, we figure it’s only right to let you in on another ubiquitous track; a dance-worthy remix of “Need Your Heart” by the Santa Barbara duo Candyland. The song opens up with punchy drum kicks, which immediately set the tone and pace for the addicting tune. The two producers prove yet again that they can create songs in any genre, and this time with a captivating cut that features drops similar to those of another Santa Barbara resident; Seven Lions. Tantalizing synth lines create the thrilling underbelly for this melodic anthem, which is sure to help the duo garner some well-deserved accolades.

Adventure Club steps up to the place on an effervescent original bump, while Candyland adds another monstrous remix to their collection. Cop the free downloads, and be on the lookout for another Adventure Club tune coming next week, along with Protohype’s take on “Need Your Heart,” which drops today, August 6th.
