Christian Bauhofer, known by his fans as his party crushing alter ego Minnesota, is a producer and DJ heralding from Santa Cruz, CA that has been lighting up venues across the country with his frantic energy and pounding bass. Minnesota's goal seems simple; to release diverse productions that can win over any crowd. The support of his management team, agency, and some of the world's greatest artists can only attribute to his hunger for more time spent on the road and in the studio. For Minnesota, the future is bright as he spends his time producing new tracks and finds himself playing more events than ever. If you haven't heard about him until now, know that Minnesota is a name to watch.
* MICHAL MENERT *
Colorado-based Michal Menert comes from a complex musical background of guitar, keyboards, and a variety of other instruments, giving him a unique approach to composition. Menert co-produced the debut Pretty Lights album, Taking Up Your Precious Time, with Derek Vincent Smith. He has since released his first solo album, Dreaming of a Bigger Life in spring of 2010, and dropped the much-lauded 27 track mega-LP, Even If It Isn’t Right, in April 2012. His sound combines obscure vintage samples from both Eastern European and Western vinyl with rich analog synthesis and organic hard hitting beats; a fusion of yesterday’s elements and tomorrow’s ideas.
* G JONES *
Weaving bubbling beats and spacey melodies seamlessly into layers of assshaking low end, Santa Cruz producer, Greg Jones aka G Jones is rapidly rising through the ranks of the electronic music world. G Jones has taken audiences from all over the west coast on a ride with him through his fresh, genre-bending take on bass music. Drawing heavy influence from hip hop and West Coast bass music, the budding young producer recently released his debut EP “Mirage” on Germany’s Saturate! Records, gaining widespread support from the electronic music community and leaving listeners craving more. The future is bright for G Jones, with several new releases planned, and plenty of new dancefloors and festivals to crush in 2013.
* MUX MOOL *
As Mux Mool, Brian Lindgren has been criss-crossing the country by himself for years, collecting records, loops, and samples, and rocking parties in towns both large and boondock-small. Lindgren is a self-confessed nerd to the bone, an incurable doodler, a Star Trek: The Next Generation fan; he lives on energy drinks and barely sleeps, spending his days working on music and his nights absorbing Internet memes by the hard-drive load. Mux Mool’s homespun electro hip-hop is the product of an introverted mind, an extroverted imagination, and a bottomless cultural appetite.
