-- About the Artists --

* GIGAMESH

Gigamesh is the stage name of Matt Masurka, an American multi-platinum selling music producer and DJ. His numerous remixes and two EPs have earned him a swiftly building reputation as one of the most versatile and consistent names in indie-dance music.

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, it’s no surprise Gigamesh has developed a keen taste for funk, disco and pop. The sound is immediately recognizable in much of his music, however he maintains a flexible aesthetic. Gigamesh is an ardent fan of minimalist concert music, film scores, classic rock, italo disco, French house, Miami bass, and genre-bending electronic music. These elements have all combined to forge his all-inclusive approach to music appreciation and creation.

* THEM JEANS *

Jason Stewart, better known to the world as Them Jeans, is a rare mix of diverse interests and unforgettable presence (he is 6 ft. 8 inches tall after all!). To categorize him as merely another DJ/producer would be to understate his drive and contributions to the current musical landscape in Los Angeles and increasing influence in the global music community. He has been the driving force behind world famous club night Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace for over five years as both a DJ and promoter. His well thought out, genre-bending sets (spanning from house music to southern rap) have recently seen him gaining recognition from publications such as URB, Vapors, and XLR8R, while expanding his fan base through recent touring throughout North America and Europe. N

Them Jeans’s passion for a wide array of genres and sounds has found its way into his productions in truly innovative ways. It would be difficult to find another artist out there who can credit remixes by Sunday Girl, Glitch Mob, Childish Gambino, Diplo, and Munk to their repertoire and have it all fit perfectly. While they may seem disparate, all of his music shares a genuine belief in crafting one-of-a-kind listening experiences that look toward challenging people’s perception of mainstream music and blurring the line between dance music and every other genre imaginable.

* COOPER SAVER *

LA’s Cooper Saver is a full time music kid. Responsible for writing about all types of music, he’s mainly recognized for putting the spotlight on forward thinking new producers and DJs in the local community and beyond. When he’s not interviewing and writing about talent of the past, present and future, Cooper can be found digging in various record stores or in the studio creating his own tracks; ranging from remixes, edits, and original work. Cooper is also the face behind Far Away Radio, a weekly internet radio show and occasional party supported by Magnetic Magazine and iheartradio
