This is gonna be a night for the books at Mighty SF with an amazing stew of electronic artist that run the gamut of west coast glitch hop, live electronic funk, and downtempo sounds. Featuring west coast producer Stephan Jacobs and supporting acts Russ Liquid, HoverKraft, Evolutionista, and DJ Lobie. On top of the wonderful musical line up, we are pleased to have Artnow SF create a wonderful atmosphere with their creative precision lighting!

Stephan Jacobs is one of the most exciting multi-genre producers on the scene today. Drawing from a powerful collection of original material and heavyweight remixes, he slings out stimulating sets of uptempo dubstep, twisted glitch hop and straight-up West Coast crunk.

Russ Liquid- Set apart from other up-and-coming West Coast bass music producers by his extensive world-touring history and performance experience, Russ Liquid brings a much needed injection of melody and emotion to the thriving dance floor community. Classically trained on the piano, trumpet, saxophone and flute, Russ Liquid applies the colorful tones of instrumental music to the realm of beats with dance floor-rocking results. This talented producer has found an entirely new palette to “paint” with, and now he seeks to bridge the gap between classical and modern music with new electronic technology and sonic possibilities.

HoverKraft is a live looping/production based project out of California's SF Bay Area that has been in the works for guitarist/producer Trey Howard since the beginning of 2010. At this point it has developed in to an eclectic mix of mid-tempo glitch, fantasy wobbles, psydub, hip hop and Pink Floyd inspired astral guitar licks. In the beginning of 2011 Emily Taggart joined the project and has added live vocals that are soul inspired and melodic. Together they create a live performance environment with guitar, synth, and vocals on top of Trey's live production on Ableton through his Apc-40. In addition, we are pleased to have bassist Darin Lehman join us again for this show as he and Trey will bust out some of their tracks they have been working on for their new project. Also it is DJ's B-day party at this show, we are gonna throw down!
