Starkey is pj. Starkey is from Philly. Starkey hosts "Seclusiasis Radio" every 1st monday of the month on SubFM. Starkey plays the urban underground sound: street bass, grime, dubstep, electro, electronics, hiphop, etc. Starkey, along with Dev79 and El Carnicero, runs Slit Jockey Records.
Freddy Todd makes electronic music in a blend of modern dubstep and glitch-hop styles. He grew up on the drums and then moved to the piano/keys and guitar/bass. These combined skills offered his musical synergy to disperse in the electronic scene when he started producing on Fruity Loops Studio in 2004, as well as forming a band and channeling live music around the same time. Making a genre of its own, Freddy combines limitless genres from soul to hip hop to funk-slime to psychedelic rock to dub all in an electronic glitched out bass driven blender.
R/D is is the musical creation of R.D. White, an LA-based electronic music producer and performer. Known for mixing crushing breaks with swirling indie rock melodies, R/D is part of a new generation of producers melding electro-hop and indie rock. In addition to producing, R/D performs dynamic live sets as a musician, playing keyboards and controllers in real time to create the epic melodies, sweeping builds, catchy hooks, and massive drops that define his sound. R/D gained widespread notoriety with his 2010 remix of Fever Ray's 'I'm Not Done' – which reached #2 on Hype Machine with an unprecedented 27,000 listens in just 3 days. The title track from his 'Face Of God EP' again landed him in the top 3 on Hype Machine's Twitter charts. His official remix of The Glitch Mob's 'Starve the Ego, Feed the Soul' is the #1 download from the entire 2 volume remix compilation series 'Drink The Sea Remixes'. His recent success has landed R/D prime-time evening slots at Coachella 2010 & 2011. He has shared bills with Flying Lotus, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, The Glitch Mob, Les Claypool, Cocoe Rosie, Caspa, Mala, Beats Antique, Mim0sa, and MartyParty to name a few.
Haywyre consists of Martin Vogt, who has been studying piano since the age of six. His interest in the production of hip-hop, dubstep, jazz and electronica began growing when he lived in Austria. Shortly after moving back to the United States, in 2008, Haywyre was created. Now, he is on a mission to consistently provide his listeners with variety. Synthetic and organic elements combine in progressive music inspired by artists such as Noisia, Break, STS9, Pretty Lights, Flying Lotus, KOAN Sound, Patrick O’Hearn, Kraak & Smaak, Phillip Glass, Clint Mansell and Abdullah Ibrahim. Martin performs the main melodies of his songs on his MIDI keyboard, but also records live instruments such as guitar, violin, armenian flutes and more.
