Spankalicious is BOUNCE! Kevin Moore (aka: Spankalicious) recently moved his home base from St. Louis, Missouri to Cincinnati, Ohio where he is holding down a new residency while gearing up for a very fun filled 2012!

In 2011 Spank played 100+ shows, traveling over 90,000 miles, meeting AMAZING people while attempting to spread a message of higher awareness among the people. From sunrise sets in the French Quarter of New Orleans to the 4:20 set at Wakarusa 2011, and many many places in between Spanky has constantly been rocking parties at every stop. Playing alongside every major cutting edge act in livetronica, dubstep, and edm as well as many major festival appearances including Wakarusa, SummerCamp, Sonic Bloom, Bassnectar\'s First Bass Center, Camp Euforia, and is already slated to take the stage at this year\'s SummerCamp Music Festival!

An extensive background in rudimental percussion/drumming have allowed Spank to read rhythms inside and out. With musical influences ranging from the Grateful Dead and Phish to U.G.K. and Three Six Mafia, Spanky has found his niche in his world of Glitchy Hippie Psychedelic Bounce.

Elfkowitz, better known as Ian Lefkowitz, is a Detroit native, and has been producing music for over 7 years. At the age of 13, he started working in Detroit-based FBT studios with Grammy winning producers, The Bass Brothers (Eminem). Starting as a new age rock and hip hop producer, he has learned what it takes to successfully produce music. Through high school Ian continued to produce mostly hip-hop. Graduating from high-school in 2008, he proceeded to peruse music at Columbia College in Chicago. Becoming inspired by his short stay at Columbia, he moved back to Detroit to begin producing electronic music with long time friend, Freddy Todd. Ian jumped from genre to genre, slowly finding his true passion: bass. In 2009, Ian moved back to Chicago, and using his continually-expanding network, has become a regular act on the Chicago scene. Now, his career has allowed him to play with such artists as Alex B, Marty Party, Murphy (STS9), Ghost Stepper (Lotus) and practically everyone in-between. Using these experiences, he\'s now diving head first into the scene.

Bass Science

http://soundcloud.com/bass-science

Bass Science started in the summer of 2007 as 2-man Live P.A., making Dub-hop / Glitch step bass music. Bass Science fuses dubstep, glitch hop, IDM and dub into a fresh new sound that is simultaneously filthy and extremely clean. In less than a year since their inception, they have created a prolific body of work and electrified dance floors across the globe: call it glitchstep, call it dubhop, call it what you will, Bass Science’s hybrid sounds are generating a cabinet-rattling buzz. In the past 2 years they’ve dazzled crowds at seminal festivals and clubs from UK’s Glade to LA’s Low End Theory, with globetrotting gigs spanning Asia, Europe and the US and sharing stages with STS9, Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing, Eliot Lipp, and more. Bass Science’s tracks, meanwhile, have received enthusiastic support from influential DJs like the BBC’s Mary Anne Hobbs and Annie Nightingale, Resonance FM’s Nick Luscombe, with regular rotation on Dubstep.FM. 2011 is a changing of an era for Bass Science. Don’t turn your back on us, because Bass Science will continue to blow up, and not just the sound systems.

Bukuone

For a short period in the early 90’s the parallel worlds of hip-hop and skating went askew and converged. At the time both were still perceived by the mainstream as antisocial behaviors and temporary fads. Hip-hop was not “real music.” Skating was not a “real sport.” In 2006, these perceptions couldn’t be further from the truth, as both disciplines have become fully integrated into the mainstream consciousness, not to mention multi-billion dollar industries.
