We are so happy the be joining the Get Low family on this night! Going to be one for the record books! Sounduo is a post-dub, audio/visual live performance project. It features deep grooves, vintage samples, soulful vocals, ambient soundscapes, and heavy synth bass passed through a scuzzed-out dub filter and mangled using the latest in glitch technology. Sounduo has been described as 'digital dub', 'live dub-hop', 'roots-glitch', and 'aural exciters.' Performances have an emphasis on live drums, electronic modulations and a synced visual/lighting production. The band's studio tracks form a basis for improvised sets; glitched-out dub interpretations of the songs unique to the moment. Sounduo was formed as a performance project of the collaboration between professional musicians Will Mills (guitar) and Zach Morillo (drums), infused with Andrew Byrd's visual interpretations of the songs. |
