Rock It Science founder Eric Sharp warms up the crowd for the legendary Roy Davis Jr., while Rock It Science Laboratory technicians Native Intelligence & Bass Cadet launch missiles of mind shattering bass in the Destiny Lounge. Rock It Science's rise to prominence began in 2004 with an inaugural warehouse event featuring the legendary Roy Davis Jr performing to a packed house of San Francisco's elite dance music community. This is going to be a night to remember, so RSVP early and come down to celebrate this milestone with us!
RSVP to eric@rockitsciencesf.com for FREE before 12am, $10 after.
Rock It Science Laboratories has amassed a loyal following, coming out and dancing to pioneers like Green Velvet as well as cutting edge new talent such as XLR8R's 2008 artist of the year Drop The Lime. Recently they have remixed their identity and launched a new website, http://www.rockitscienceSF.com, in preparation for an evolution from an event production company to a music label - Rock It Science Laboratories - that will represent San Francisco on a global scale.
SHRINE:
ROY DAVIS JR (Chicago, Large, Nice & Smooth) Roy's discography and DJ schedule is simply ridiculous. His anthem Gabrielle is credited as the first garage track, not to mention a slew of other hits on labels like Strictly Rhythm, Large Music, and Nice and Smooth to name a few. A DJ Set from Roy is always full of surprises, including classics that you had almost forgotten and the most cutting edge tracks that are yet to be released.
ERIC SHARP (Rock It Science, Flavor Group, SF)
Rock It Science Laboratories founder and Flavor Group resident selector Eric Sharp will be busting out with some serious jams to open up for Roy, one of his favorite DJs and biggest inspirations. Eric Sharp’s ascent to the forefront of dance music can only be described as meteoric. From working countless dance floors into frenzies at clubs, bars, and parties across the US and the globe to producing some of San Francisco’s most epic parties with his crew Rock It Science, Eric’s seemingly endless energy and dedication is simply contagious. Mr. Sharp has already achieved great success as a dj, producer, and promoter alike, keeping everyone dancing until the sun comes up.
DESTINY LOUNGE:
Native Intelligence (Rock It Science, Headset, Sleevin)
Native Intelligence is on the verge of "overnight" success because he has worked his whole life for this moment. Saturated for almost two decades in the local SF and international club scene, Native Intelligence aka Duane Kenneth Williams is no stranger to the ins and outs of the electronic dance business and what type of drive, creativity and patience it takes to succeed in creating/marketing music production and furiously rocking the dance floor. Native Intelligence's first Beatport EP release through Headset Recordings "R U Westside" is currently out now and getting exceptional reviews and play support by house legends' DJ Sneak, Tony Humphries, Nick Holder, Justin Harris, Slater Hogan and was recently rated #5 on Giom's (Om, Amenti, UK) top ten tracks on Resident Advisor.
Bass Cadet aka Friction (Rock It Science, Purgatory Cruiser)
The hype fueled by Bass Cadet aka Friction's performances and the success of the Purgatory Cruiser events have brought him exposure, and people are loving his sound and style. Bass Cadet is now traveling throughout the country saturating the crowd with not only his unique sound but his disarming warmth and gentleness. Once you hear Friction drop his beats you’ll be left yearning for another fix.
