AK1200 (Big Riddim)
RAS G (Brainfeeder)
THE PROFESSIONALS (Bassface)
+ OICHO on live video mapping
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
AK1200: "Drum and bass legend" doesn't even begin to describe AK1200. Not only an outstanding DJ who is like an "AK47 on the 1200's," AK1200 was influential in bringing drum and bass to the forefront of American electronic music culture. He has connected legions of fans, DJs and music makers between the U.S. and the U.K. and around the world as well. With a collection of straight up bass blasters, plenty of dance floor anthems and 20 years of experience reading the crowd, AK1200 will entertain you as he crushes your brain into oblivion!
RAS G: Like a spaceship landing back on the planet with a resounding crush that collapses the fabric of time, Ras G's music descends onto the dance floor. Deep funk and colossal drums smash into leaden basslines and fling you into the furthest reaches of the galaxy...might want to bring a helmet for this one. AIRHORN!
THE PROFESSIONALS: Sam XL and Pablo Hassan have been covering Los Angeles' crowds in Pure Filth for years now and showing no signs of stopping. At the forefront of the city's dubstep scene since day one, The Professionals return for SCREWFACE to deliver the bass that your brain and body requires.
DLX: DLX aka Doctor Lazarus X came to Los Angeles from North Carolina and hit the hot streets of the city running, performing his first gig as an opener for Kode9 at a Pure Filth show. Signed to the first dubstep label in LA, Steps in Time Recordings, DLX has since continued his ascent with a stack of releases and remixes and plenty of parties under his belt.
KEMST is your host and MC whose infectious energy keeps the party rolling and the crowd screaming for more. Listen to his words and let his rhythms set you free.
OICHO brings the latest in visual pleasures to Screwface with live video mapping; this multimedia artist will pop your top off with his innovative designs.
