The end is here. 2011 is drawing to a close. Soon, we'll be in the midst of December holidays and year-end resolutions, but before that, lets celebrate the best of times we've enjoyed over the past 11 months. On 12.2.11 we kick off the wind down with the biggest event Lights Down Low has done all year...actually, to date. This phenomenal lineup is comprised of the best rising artists of 2011. We've been putting this epic event together since February and along with Public works, are ecstatic to finally present it to you in all its glory.

Benoit & Sergio (who have never performed in SF until now), in our opinion, are the best new act out there. Ghostly International described them the best: "Benoit & Sergio don’t make dance tracks—they tell stories. In the Washington, DC duo’s music, a sense of place and narrative infuse their rhythms and melodies, transcending the confines of “tech-house” or “electronic pop” and entering a genre-free realm of cinematic imagery and visceral pleasures." They provide a sense of relaxed excitement that artists are rarely able to tap into. No Regular Play are right there with them. At the forefront of the Wolf + Lamb crew out of Brooklyn, these two put together some of the best live dance music out today. NRP are going to provide an aural delight that we don't anticipate being able to shake for days.

What happens when three prominent men of SF nightlife come together for an amazing musical collaboration? PillowTalk. This trio are getting an incredible amount of hype, all of which is completely deserved. Also playing in the main room, we'll have Rich Korach from the amazing SF party, As You Like It. Upstairs in the OddJob Loft, we have the legend who basically DJ's all of Los Angeles: Thee Mike B. This is Mike's first time playing LDL, which is ridiculous, since he is such a great friend and even better DJ. Local homies SOSOSOON join him in getting the party really going upstairs.
