This year's event brings with it a big reason to celebrate too; 2011 marks an impressive 20 years of Tong hosting his Friday night prime-time show on BBC Radio One that's heralded as 'the official start to the weekend'. So surely Pete will be in a very good mood, non?
Along with his party hat, Tong will be bringing an extraordinarily star-studded crew with him to make sure this twelve-hour party is one to remember. "I'm very excited to be returning to South Beach in Miami to host my annual pool party at the beautiful Surfcomber Hotel with our most provocative line up ever" says Tong. "Richie Hawtin, Luciano and Joris Voorn star in an eclectic line up that will take no prisoners!" he continues. In addition to Hawtin, Luciano and Voorn, one half of Deep Dish, Sharam joins the hot list of names, plus Riva Star, James Zabiela and New Yorkers Sleepy & Boo. Rumour has it, there are plenty more names still to be announced too.
