************************** Ott: Ott. returns to the United States to tour in support of his brand new full-length album “Mir.”
On this release the veteran producer, known for evolving the sound of roots and dub,
takes his music to new heights. His prolific career with influential UK label Twisted Records
has seen two successful full-length releases, collaborative work with Simon Posford (Shpongle),
as well as the release of his world renowned “Hallucinogen In Dub” remixes.
Now Ott.’s direct-to-fan release, “Mir,” is sure to be his best work to date and to accompany this
tour-de-force Ott. will be performing a re-formatted live PA set in packed clubs and festivals across the US.
Phutureprimitive is lined up to support Ott. on every show of this tour to herald the release of his new full-length album, “Kinetic.” This long awaited release from the chillout champion
follows up his 2010 EP “Luminous” and will be his first full-length release since “Sub Conscious” in 2004.
Phutureprimitive’s admired reputation among the underground chillout scene will finally surface
to be appreciated by the masses.
Phutureprimitive: Phutureprimitive's music is singular and unique in its approach: Lush melodies drift across intricate rhythms,
groove heavy beats and warm, fuzzy bass lines. Often exploring a dark and dense palette, his music also
manages to convey a sense of tranquility and beauty, engaging the listener into hypnotic movement and
often escalating toward a full kinetic experience. Conceived and produced in a digital environment,
his music manages to convey more humanity and organic warmth then typically found in an often cold
and sterile genre. Shimmering with cinematic qualities, his music ultimately speaks to both the mind
and the body. Despite electronic music’s tendency to suffer a short shelf life, Phutureprimitive has already
demonstrated a timeless quality with his debut album release of “Sub Conscious” on Waveform Records,
which has managed to increase in sales since its release in 2004, obtaining a cult status among fans and
collectors. With a string of singles released in the interim on various labels, his second full-length release
is currently in production, pushing his sound into new territories of emotional electronic music.
Supersillyus: Supersillyus (Base Trip Records) is an electronic music producer based out of Allston, MA
whose genre bending compositions fuse the best of psychedelic IDM and dub, blasting the listener
into a colorful, otherworldly universe. Meticulously crafting his second record “Tesselations,”
for over a year now, Supersillyus (aka Rob Uslan) recently released ME(meta)TATRON,
an exclusive preview EP that will captivate both your ears and your minds, blasting you into untold dimensions
while simultaneously moving your body to the infectious rhythms. Certainly an excellent addition to this already
