Although dance music is no stranger to supergroups, few ever manage to find a place in our hearts. Metroplane - the brainchild of OWSLA house maverick, Alex Metric and Belgian nu-disco savant, Aeroplane - makes the cut.
Born out of a random b2b set on an Asian cruise, the core of the project is made up of Aeroplane’s famed disco grooves and vintage synths, paired with Alex Metric's edgier tones and sharp drum racks.
With stamps of approval from tastemakers like Annie Mac, the newly minted duo is bringing their sense of adventure and experimentation to our favorite anything-goes spot, House of Yes. Sexy aerialists, intoxicating lights and hunger for curiosity will set the tone for a night.
