DAEDELUS
Once working from a studio in Santa Monica, California. A young Daedelus began noodling Bass Clarinet notes, and soon after attempting Double-Bass. After an ill-fated affair pondering classical and jazz, rave paved the way, and a burgeoning record collection fueled Daedelus’ artistic creativity, preparing the path to his first full length release, Invention. Inspired by ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘70s grooves, and defying genres such as downtempo and hip-hop, Daedelus gradually begins to venture into the L.A. afterdark.
SLUGABED
Blending influences both classic and contemporary, from the outermost reaches of dubstep, hip hop and beyond, Slugabed’s productions have been gaining props in a big way recently. Under his Slugabed alias, Greg Feldwick evokes the sound and spirit of post-Dilla west coast hip hop, whilst simultaneously stalking the length and breadth of the UK’s dubstep / bass music scene. Or in the words of The Quietus, crafting, “all the best bits of current American pop culture and distilling it along with UK bass music into a typically sceptical Brit attitude.”
LOW LIMIT
Low Limit is New York based Bryant Rutledge, the more experimental half of the electronic duo Lazer Sword, along with Lando Kal.
