ABOUT SOUND PELLIGRINO THERMAL TEAM: Teki Latex. DJ Orgasmic. Currently two of the biggest names in dance music right now (and have been for some time). When they combine their powers they become Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team. Even though their teaming up behind the turntables is rather recent, these two have known each other for 15 years and have released countless collaborations. Going through various musical phases, they have always kept a will to explore forward-thinking dance music that will make the crowd go crazy without sounding stale and outdated. Mixing ingredients ranging from tribal rhythms, pumping tech house and mini baltimore to warped funky sounds with a slice of club rap thrown in for good mesure, the Thermal Team's mineral cocktail promises to bring something refreshing and bubbly to the table. We've been trying to lock these guys down since last year and FINALLY the stars aligned in our (AND YOUR) favor. This is going to be awesome.
ABOUT LOL BOYS: Jerome P. and Markus G. are LOL Boys. Jerome is a close personal friend of the gentlemen of LDL, so we are more than excited to have LOL Boys grace the LDL stage again. Together they have a penchant for head-throbbing, mind-expanding percussive dance music. The forward-thinking producers are fueled by equal parts shuffling tropical percussion, romantic synths, pitch-shifter vocals, and a hearty dose of booming bass. Though they are across the continent, LOL Boys have done a variety of remixes over the past year for acts such as Hot City, Crystal Fighters, Para One, Bambounou, and Samo Sound Boy. Their debut, "123," on Palms Out Sounds has been supported by a number of today's "tastemaker" DJs, and it's no surprise that buzz is building about their forthcoming releases on Palms Out Sounds, Discobelle Recods, and Cool Records/Mad Decent. These men are legendary party boys. Don't miss out on these antics.
ABOUT WORTHY: A figurehead in the pride of San Francisco, Dirtybird, Worthy is an icon amongst DJ's. In 2001 Worthy set up his studio in San Francisco and began producing house music. He began DJing around the city at clubs such as The Top, Lit, and Anu. Claude VonStroke noticed some of Worthy’s tracks and asked him to be a resident DJ at their huge monthly summer event in Golden Gate Park. In 2006 Worthy started his own label called Katabatic Records to give him a way to release his own music. Katabatic Records has been releasing a steady stream of quality tech house and has gaining praises for its edgy music. Since then, Worthy had gained more and more momentum, becoming one of the MOST sought after DJ's in all of the Bay Area. If you have not heard of Worthy then you will soon know that he is worthy.
