$20 Cover :: All proceeds will go directly to Missions to North America Disaster Relief which in turn goes to help our Haitian brothers & sisters who are desperately in need. If you feel compelled to donate more, you are more than welcome to! However, we realize that we are still in a recession and wanted to therefore make this special evening as accessible as possible for everyone.
Funds that are channeled directly to ESMI (El Shaddai Ministries is the Haitian Ministry arm of the MNA) or through Disaster Response of the MNA (Missions to North America) are guaranteed to have 100% of every $1 spent go towards Haitian disaster relief. There are no fees and no charges for overhead within the organizations. Typically high overhead fees in the range of 17%-20% combined with slow moving supply distribution chains can often times make relief difficult. With ESMI and MNA, you are dealing with an indiginous organization who can assure that the funds go to the neediest people the quickest.

In July of last year, I was personally involved with El Shaddai Ministries and Missions to North America. Our group travelled from the states to Port Au Prince, Haiti and then onto Les Cayes, Haiti to provide medical treatment to various orphanages within the region. During this time, I was forever changed by the love, warmth, and happiness I received from the Haitian people. It still amazes me to this day how a people so stricken by poverty can possess so much joy. It brought me great sadness to hear the news of the earthquake tragedies and I hope we can provide help in some small way through this event to restore that joy I so fondly remember.
