Halfway to Forecastle is a mini-fest designed to celebrate and commemorate the “Halfway” point to the annual Forecastle Festival, whose 10th Anniversary will be hosted in 2012 at Waterfront Park. Now in its 4th year, the event features many of Forecastle’s trademark components in smaller proportions, situated in a non-traditional venue. The past three have sold-out in advance, while continually upgrading to larger venues. This summer’s event represents the first partnership between AC Entertainment and The Forecastle Festival, and is much larger than previous Halfways. Performing at this year's Halfway will be Pretty Lights, Big Boi, RJD2, VHS or Beta, and Boombox on The Wharf at Waterfront Park, followed-up by a late night after-party at The Ice House with MiM0SA, Ana Sia and Gramatik.
