NYC party purveyors, MeanRed, are super excited to have the godfather of disco, Giorgio Moroder, grace New York with his presence on February 10. Moroder is officially the oldest DJ in the world and a collaborator of the recent Daft Punk album. He has won 3 Oscars, 3 Golden Globes and 4 Grammys.

An Italian composer from South Tyrol, Moroder made his first steps in music by releasing a few singles under the name “Giorgio” in 1966 and sang in Italian, English, and German. He came to prominence in 1969, when his recording “Looky Looky” was awarded a gold disc in October 1970. At the 2014 Grammy Awards, Moroder won his 4th Grammy for ‘Best Album of the Year’ for his contributions to Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories.

In summer 2013, Moroder gave his US debut at the Red Bull Music Academy at Output. You won’t want to miss his return to one of the best club sound systems in the US!
