No Sugar Added presents Eric Prydz

Sunday August 5th, 2012 - Coliseum Tallahassee

This summer just got hotter! Miami's dance music brand No Sugar Added has just announced that on Sunday August 5th, the event series will be making its way to Florida's capital city Tallahassee with global legend Eric Prydz of Sweden, who has been away from America since 2007 and will perform in the city's new mega nightclub Coliseum. NSA and Coliseum have teamed up since early 2012 and together they've re-defined Tallahassee's nightlife with countless sold out shows, bringing the city a fresh wave of the world's best talent, But hold your breath and prepare yourself as Prydz, headliner of the Identity Festival tour, delivers his bold musical agenda filled with commercial success and underground notoriety for what is bound to be one of the biggest shows in Florida this summer.

For Eric Prydz, his music labels Pryda and Mouseville have allowed him to remain something of an enigma while being a household name. Both labels are held in the highest regard by an adoring underground scene, though their releases are made available with scarcely any promotion. Musically, they've become genre-defining staples in their own right, and are two of the most successful and influential dance labels in the world (acknowledged by Beatport as being among their biggest grossing imprints). Before working on his latest album PRYDA, the year 2011 saw the launch of Eric's new show concept EPIC, which placed electronic music back at the forefront of technological innovation. The world premiere took place at London's O2 Academy Brixton to a sell out audience in April 2011, featuring a 100-foot installation which extended into the crowd along with one of the first uses of holograms in a live music show as well as 3D animation and rotational mapping. EPIC was the first dance event in the world to feature 3D holograms and as Prydz noted, "I wanted a new show that expressed my music in a visual context. I want to push the boundaries of a live electronic music show with technology that hasn't been used before and to give my fans an experience that they will never forget."

As the man with an infamous fear of flying but a worldwide demand for his DJ sets makes his way to No Sugar Added, and as all other club events, festival, and venues across the globe have rocked to his performances over the years, it is safe to say you'll be witnessing something special on Sunday August 5th at Coliseum in Tallahassee. Limited early bird tickets are now on sale!
