Tsunami Bass and First City Present 'Oh My Grime Takeover' / Epicenter 22: a curated showcase featuring artists at the forefront of the American Grime movement. Grime, an MC-led music genre which originated in East London, made inroads in America during it's first wave in 2003. In 2015 Miami based MC Jumanji - having coined the phrase #AmericanGrime, set out to educate and expand the sound in the US market.
Jumanji cofounded record label "American Grime Recordings" and subsequently started the massively popular 'Oh My Grime' parties. On February 24th 'Oh My Grime' will be taking over Brooklyn. Baltimore's MC Twisty and DJ Omnibud will be on deck alongside Jumanji and Argyle Bixby from Miami, with local support from Bookz, Max Echo and the Tsunami Bass crew. nextHYPE's Michael Savant will also be on deck.
