Saturday, April 7, one of dance music's most highly regarded artists touches down at RISE during Together 2012.
Dubfire is a true luminary. From his early years as half of Deep Dish to his current world-wide tour as one of techno's elite, this man has made a career of being in high-demand. His sound is deep, dark, percussive, techny, hypnotic, and outright futuristic. It's a perfect match for a Saturday night @ RISE.
The Iranian American artist actually began as one half of duo act Deep Dish with Sharam Tayebi. Their productions and DJ sets together were Grammy-winning.
Dubfire is now known for his solo work and recognized for productions like “Roadkill,” “Diablo” and “Rabic,” in addition to remixing major names like Paul Ritch, Booka Shade, Axwell, and Robbie Rivera. He has won best minimal artist and best techno artist in the Beatport Music Awards and has had a number of listings in Resident Advisor’s top 100 all-time charted tracks.
