Deka has been performing from behind the decks for over a decade in front of enthusiastic club goers all across the United States and abroad. Over the past 3 year’s DJ Deka has been making his mark through touring and quality production work in the studio and he has become one of the USA’s rising stars in underground house music. Deka has a national mix CD out on Nervous Records titled “Nervous Nitelife: DJ Deka” for sales in stores throughout North America. Additionally, over 20 tracks appear on in-store global mix compilations including Ministry of Sound discs and a re-license which appears on a Bud Light TV commercial. Always in strong demand for gigs throughout New England, Deka has held nearly a dozen residencies in his career, his most recent at Underbar in Boston, MA where he has been a resident for over 4 years. Deka also holds a quarterly residency at RISE, Boston’s only legal Afterhours club and currently ranked 42nd best club in the world by DJ Mag 2012.
DJ Deka has headlined some of the biggest and most respected rooms in the country such as Avalon Boston, Avalon Los Angeles, Royale Boston, Pacha NYC, Cielo NYC, Webster Hall NYC, Greenhouse NYC, Karu & Y in Miami, Discotekka Miami, Mekka Miami, The Living Room in Fort Lauderdale, Emerald City in Philadelphia, Luna in Los Angeles California, Eden in Washington DC, Jackson’s in Tampa, Senso in Orlando, Room 960 in Connecticut and Therapy in Providence to name a few major US gigs along with international shows in Portugal and the Dominican Republic. With over 60 releases under his belt in five years of studio work, Deka is signed with over 30 record labels worldwide and has had over a dozen original tracks and remixes spotted on the top 100 downloads/sales of Beatport.com.
