Global Dance, AEG Live and Live Nation are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual DECADENCE NYE – this year expanded to two days –on December 30-31, 2013 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo. The two-day festival's first phase lineup features BASSNECTAR and DADA LIFE on the 30th and PRETTY LIGHTS and ABOVE & BEYOND on the 31st.
Held in the heart of downtown Denver at the Colorado Convention Center, Decadence NYE will encompass 600,000 sq. feet throughout two massive arenas each day. “The vision for Decadence is to make Denver the premiere destination for New Year’s Eve, so we decided to expand to a multiple day event and put together a massive lineup that will appeal to music lovers nation-wide,” remarked Global Dance producer Ha Hau. The festival guarantees to stay true to its name through inviting attendees to end 2013 with a diverse and unparalleled array of world-class talent, sensational performers, exquisite décor, top-notch production and stunning visuals.
The extravagance begins with the first phase of artists, including four legends known for headlining festivals around the world. On Monday, December 30th, the BASS ARENA will be commanded by none other than BASSNECTAR. Lorin Ashton is known for a set that draws from every genre imaginable, creating an immersive sensory experience that is unique to each show. Steering the GLOBAL DANCE ARENA is Swedish electro house duo DADA LIFE. The infamous party masters, known for their love of champagne and bananas, put on a show so loud and rowdy that none will soon forget.
Tuesday, December 31st will feature beloved hometown hero PRETTY LIGHTS in the ILLUMINATION ARENA. Electro soul hip-hop pioneer Derek Vincent Smith makes a triumphant return to Denver after an extensive North American headline tour in support of Pretty Lights' new album, A Color Map of the Sun, hailed by VIBE as “a masterpiece” – and fans can count on a New Year’s Eve show that elevates the live experience to new levels of undeniable aural and visual perfection. In the GLOBAL DANCE ARENA, trance favorites ABOVE & BEYOND will take listeners on a euphoric journey into 2014. Their powerfully uplifting music and ability to connect with listeners on a deeply emotional level make the trio the ideal conductors for the transition into the New Year.
