*** THE ARTISTS ***

AN-TEN-NAE

http://soundcloud.com/an-ten-nae

An*Ten*Nae is one of San Francisco’s most sought after DJs and live performers. He has taken the art of live remixing to new heights with his own customized setup, that bends genres in ways seldom heard. This sound is called Acid Crunk, and there are no rules, no restraints in its quest for pure dance floor devistation. 2010 also sees the birth of An*Ten*Nae “The Live Experience, featuring an audio visual barrage including live drums and synths combined with dramatic theatrical and visual stimulation. Welcome to the future, and no it wont be televised.

An*Ten*Nae is an entity possessing the human mind of one Adam Ohana, giving him the ability to transcend above the constraints of music rigidity and transmit bass heavy, crunked out beats of the highest order. His bar raising Live mix mashup compilations, “Punk Rock Country Hop” and “Acid Crunk Vol. 1” have set the standard and has defined an era with over 300,000 downloads to date. Picking up steam in 2009 Acid Crunk Vol. 2 maintained the # 1 seller in Dubstep, Electronica and Chillout genres simultaneously while also having all 14 tracks in their respective genre top 10, as well as rocking the charts on iTunes, Juno Digital and a host of other sites. With an album in the works and the ever growing Acid Crunk series running at full steam, we see no end in site for the ever changing chameleon known as An*Ten*Nae.

Besides DJ’ing and producing electronic music for over 10 years on a wide collection of esteemed labels, Adam Ohana has also been an instrumental part of the underground music culture in SF. From being the Music director at of San Francisco’s largest Club venue 1015 Folsom, to his production company called An*Ten*Nae Presents. These events helped break a lot of artists in Bass oriented music on the west coast, including Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, Rusko, Modeselektor and Tipper to name a few. His events have helped catalyze what is now a thriving music scene that spans the west coast and increasingly proliferating dance music culture as a whole. He also produces and performs with DJ Laura as The Lo Riderz, a project that can only be described as a concoction of liquid sassafras that aims to take the party to a deeper level, new music from this duo will be available shortly.

GLADKILL

http://soundcloud.com/gladkill

Boris Gladkikh aka Gladkill has been on a meteoric rise in the electronic music scene since he first began playing live in 2009. Through his tremendous work ethic and tireless touring schedule, Gladkill has already played for massive audiences on the stages of large-scale music festivals such as Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Earthdance and Burning Man, winning over new fans with every stop.

Originally hailing from NYC, Gladkill now resides in Los Angeles and is part of Headtron, where the versatile young producer’s music fits perfectly alongside the other talented artists that make up the collective. Refusing to stick to the comfort of making one style of music, Gladkill has rewarded audiences through the sheer diversity of his songs, as he deftly moves between dominating dance floors with his sexy, crunked-out club bangers, as well as captivating home stereo speakers with more downtempo and melodic material.

Following up on the success of 2010’s Ghostwork and 2011’s Lovelost, he has continued to hone his production skills by consistently creating fresh original material for his genre-smashing live sets, which will culminate with his debut artist album due in 2012. With a heavier emphasis on songwriting and song structure, Gladkill is aiming to make music that will stand the test of time.

When you listen to Gladkill’s songs or see him perform, you’ll discover an artist set apart between the sheets of cool bass lines and ethereal melodies. In an era where disposable dance music is big business, Gladkill makes anything but.

PSYMBIONIC

soundcloud.com/psymbionic

As a part of the upcoming generation of electronic music producers, Psymbionic creates aural experiences that demonstrate the possibility for multi-tempo Bass Music and culture to exist within a range of more divergent influences. Passion and innovation drives this young producer, facilitating his forthcoming and past releases on labels such as Made in Glitch, MalLabel, and Daly City Records, just to name a few.

With this latest project, John Burcham has been moving bodies and turning heads for several years, playing with acts such as Bassnectar, STS9, Beats Antique, ill.Gates, Excision, EOTO, and Tipper. In addition to festival appearances that include Nocturnal, Wakarusa, and Sonic Bloom, Psymbionic demonstrates heavy involvement both on the stage and behind the scenes at electronic showcases such as his local SXSW in Austin, TX. Burcham’s work informs his repertoire with roots in the furthest reaches of the electronic music scene, and grants him a unique perspective on each crowd through the latest developments of the industry.

In a live show context, Psymbionic confronts mixes that are limited to the scope of the build and release, avoiding an industry epidemic of drop-monotony that overpowers the flow of music. Burcham seeks to prove that there are more powerful influences in moving a crowd than simple tension, providing an interwoven dynamic that relies on the strength of his blend, rather than the sole force or familiarity of the apex.

Psymbionic's theory of music is a journey that doesn't visit the same place twice, building excitement for what's next not because you can anticipate it, but because you've never been there before.

OMAR CHOW

With his love of Sacred Geometry Omar Chow twists galaxy's and blends dimensions like no other. He creates art that concentrates on bringing space and time into existence through a conscious alliance. An Austin favorite that you have to see to believe.
