Jackal & Hyde - Hallucination Records / Warped Records / Deletefunk / Monotone (Tampa, Florida/Los Angeles, California)

Jackal & Hyde have been called "the purveyors of the hardcore-electro sound" (Electro-core), a combination of industrial laden electro beats and psychotic keys. Jackal and Hyde's live shows and digital mix sets are eclectic full frontal sonic assaults which appeal to a wide variety of fans from club kids, ravers and break dancers to goths, gravers and industrial heads alike. Jackal & Hyde was formed in 1998 by partners Scott Weiser, and Todd Walker in an effort to combine a harder edge sound with the dance floor sensibility of Electro,Industrial, Breakbeats and Techno. Besides their original work, Jackal & Hyde's sound has been requested for multiple remix productions including No Doubt, Love & Rockets, Kid Rock and Genitorturers among others. Together, Jackal & Hyde have had a string of successful records out on Hallucination Recordings owned by techno gurus, Rabbit in The Moon.

Their shows are known for cutting edge, in your face music and unbelievable visuals by Hallucination on film. Jackal & Hyde have had just about every World Renown Breaks/Electro/Techno/Hard House DJ open up for them, and have Co-headlined with a wide variety of bands from BT, Genitorturers and Rabbit in the Moon, to Busta Rhymes, Tech 9, and The Kotton Mouth Kings at venues all throughout the U.S. and abroad. Their shows are simply devastating, and their sound is absolutely unforgettable.

AND THE DJ'S SAY: On Jackal & Hyde's "Give It All You Got 2000" -

"I got the record last week and dropped it at a party this weekend it ROCKED the party. DJ's were sweating that shit like mad. I just wanted to let you know how well it was received on the west coast. Thanks for sending it to me." Scot (Mikhail) - MIXER Reviews

"Jackal & Hyde and their uncanny ability to wreak havoc in the name of electro/breaks have been in constant demand on turntables from Los Angeles to Berlin". - URB MAGAZINE

"Jackal & Hyde are not just club DJ's but a live act & production duo that are a force to be reckoned with" -D'VOX MAGAZINE

"Jackal & Hyde make you feel like you 'are' that person in the Maxell commercial, both sonically and visually amazing." - MIAMI HERALD

Jakes - H.E.N.C.H Recordings / D Style / Get Darker (2) (Bristol, United Kingdom)

jakes is many things to many people, to some he is the voice of TC’s smash hits ‘Deep’, ‘Drink’ and ‘Mindkiller’, to others he is the Daddy of Bristolian Dubstep crew H.E.N.C.H and to musical historians he is one of the most interesting vocalists that underground British music can lay claim to. Never afraid to break from tradition and roll with his own flow, Jakes’ voice has become one of the most recognisable in the game and his energetic live performances see him travelling across the globe and smacking down raves from Bristol to Boston with his inimitable style.

Within a few years, Jakes has gone from being one of the big name MCs of the drum and bass world to now being one of the most talked about Producers in Dubstep. In a very short space of time, the progression towards his now trademark style has been applauded by many – and not limited to the Dubstep scene.

In 2009, the release of The Jakes Project, which included anthems such as Rock Tha Bells and Warface, demonstrated Jakes’ ability to straddle genres with his aptness for innovation and style remaining intact. With his own productions receiving widespread support from as wide-ranging DJs from Skream to Crookers to Mary Anne Hobbs to Gaslamp Killer, Jakes has gone on to produce remixes that have topped download charts and he regularly receives extensive radio coverage. With this in mind, it’s no wonder that his label has a host of talented artists releasing their productions through the HENCH imprint. I'm the Fada a da H.E.N.C.H FAMILY!

Dara - Breakbeat Science (Brooklyn, New York)

A member of the infamous Planet of the Drums crew alongside fellow drum ‘n bass pioneers AK1200, Dieselboy, & J Messinian, this Irish transplant has been a dominant figure in the U.S. drum ‘n bass scene since his arrival here in 1994. His discography includes 2 critically acclaimed full length artist albums, 8 DJ mix CDs, as well as numerous singles and remixes for artists such as Freq Nasty, Afrika Bambaata and Keoki.

Dara co-founded the nation’s first & largest drum ‘n bass record store, Breakbeat Science, in NYC which doubles as his own imprint, Breakbeat Science Recordings. He has been featured in countless magazine articles and interviews both in the US and worldwide. He previously hosted one of the internet’s most popular drum ‘n bass broadcasts, Velocity, where he regularly interviewed leading drum ‘n bass artists such as Jonny L, Kemistry & Storm, Trace, Ed Rush, Optical, Hype, Andy C, Zinc, and many others.

Dara’s long standing relationships with the world’s drum ‘n bass elite gives him access to an astounding amount of new and unreleased material. His brilliant recording endeavors along with his incessant touring markey by consistently awe-inspiring DJ sets have made him one of the most recognized and well respected DJs in the country.
