Badmath is a project based on exposing, exploring, and exploiting the inherent algorithms employed by all audio processing software for the unique properties each set of mathematics imposes on analogue and digital sound. From uses involving sound design to odd meters and syncopations, the audio is often processed in such a way that it creates its own melodies, grooves, and timbres independent from preprogramed material.
