In the spring of 2007 we opened our newest and largest location to date. A total of 12000 square feet of Awful Space! The Blacksburg store is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Blacksburg on the corner of Draper Road and Washington Street inside Kent Square. Design-wise, this location differs a little from our other stores since it is spread out over two floors. We incorporated some exciting new features such as both upstairs and downstairs bars and a private conference room to host a private party or a business luncheon complete with full A/V resources! With this spacious two floor design, Blacksburg can comfortably seat up to 200 people for truly private banquet functions served from our brand new Catering Menus. For the casual dinner with friends and family type customer, Awful Arthur's Blacksburg has large smoke free dining rooms, where the most delightful dishes from the land and sea are cooked up fresh daily by our talented chefs. Enjoy some sights of the sea as well while watching the creatures play in our 200 gallon salt water aquarium. If eating outside is your thing, we also offer plenty of outdoor seating on our covered patio. For the after dinner, or after work meeting place, wander up to our lounge areas consisting of leather sofas and chairs, and a bar big enough for all of your friends. For the sports fan, Blacksburg features 20 HD TV’s from 32” to 105”, all for your viewing pleasure. We also have five pool tables, all with special rates during our Awful Hours (11am-7pm). Lastly, while you are relaxing upstairs, you'll have the opportunity to hear the some of the best local and regional entertainment available. We offer Karaoke on Thursday nights and live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night. Our weekdays are always full of good times and good company. |
